FAQs-Covid- 8/8/22
The Connecticut Department of Education and Connecticut Department of Health have just released a new guiding document for the beginning of this school year called “Launching into Healthy Learning”.
If students or staff members test negative with a home Covid test or PCR test and do not have a fever greater than 100.4, they can come to school/work.
In the case of severe symptoms of cough, fever, nausea, or fever over 100.4, students and staff should remain at home until they no longer have these symptoms.
If they test positive for Covid, they still need to be quarantined for 5 days and return to school wearing a mask for the next 5 days.
If they have the sniffles, allergies ,or are coughing, students and staff may choose to wear a mask to school (Masks are still available at our school sites).
