FAQs-Covid- 8/8/22

  • The Connecticut Department of Education and Connecticut Department of Health have just released a new guiding document for the beginning of this school year called “Launching into Healthy Learning”.
  • If students or staff members test negative with a home Covid test or PCR test and do not have a fever greater than 100.4, they can come to school/work.
  • In the case of severe symptoms of cough, fever, nausea, or fever over 100.4, students and staff should remain at home until they no longer have these symptoms.
  • If they test positive for Covid, they still need to be quarantined for 5 days and return to school wearing a mask for the next 5 days.
  • If they have the sniffles, allergies ,or are coughing, students and staff may choose to wear a mask to school (Masks are still available at our school sites).
